Helen West Stewart Ridgely family papers
This collection consists of papers pertaining to members of Helen Ridgely's family. Included are papers of her grandparents Leonice Sampson and Joseph White Moulton, her parents Josephine Moulton and John Stewart, her husband Captain John Ridgely, and their son Julian White Ridgely.
The papers span the years 1840-1918.
Helen West Stewart Ridgely papers
This collection contains the incoming correspondence of Helen West Stewart Ridgely. The letters are largely from her grandmother, mother, sister, brother, husband and children. The letters detail the life of a Baltimore society matron in the late 19th century and especially reveal child rearing practices.
Hoyt collection of Ridgely papers
This collection consists of papers of various members of the Ridgley Family and related families including the Gough, Howard, Hoyt, and Yeaton families. There are also bills and receipts for the Hampton house, the Ridgley family estate. Among the materials are the papers of Family members including Captain Charles Ridgely (1733-1790), John Ridgely (1792 – 1867), Charles Ridgely (1830 – 1872), and Helen West Stewart Ridgely (1854 – 1929).
