Abstract
Dr. Thomas Pullen was the Maryland state superintendent of schools, 1942-1964, and president of the University of Baltimore, 1964-1969. In this interview, he discusses: Family, ancestors, friends and teachers at William and Mary College; World War I Marine Corps experiences; lists changes in Maryland school system during his tenure and explains several at length. The interview took place over the course of several days, and is roughly 7 hours in length.
