Biographical / Historical
Daguerreotype portrait of Elizabeth Paca Bordley Coulter (1831-1909). The daughter of John Beale Bordley (1800-1882) of Baltimore and Frances Paca Baker, Elizabeth married George Trull Coulter (1831-1890), son of Alexander Coulter, in 1853. Mr. Coulter was a promoter of United States mining stocks, so the family moved sporadically from the Atlantic to Pacific coasts of the United States.
