General
This engraving depicts the Methodist Episocopal church in Mount Vernon Place in Baltimore. Victorian Gothic architecture, designed by Thomas Dixon and Charles L. Carson and completed on November 12, 1872. It is located on the site of the mansion of Charles Howard who was married to the daughter of Francis Scott Key who died in his daughter's home.
