Residence of Frank Brown, "Springfield Farm" located in Western Maryland. Mrs. Patterson and Mr. Carroll decided to sell to Frank Brown in 1880. Frank Brown was a Governor of Bowie and in 1875 he was elected to the House of Delegates, MD Assembly. This site became to be the Springfield Hospital.
