Abstract
Hans Froelicher, Jr was Headmaster at the Park School from 1932 to1956, and President of the Citizens Planning and Housing Association from 1944 to 1956, both in Baltimore, Maryland. In this oral history interview, he discusses the campaign in Maryland for President Woodrow Wilson and the Woodrow Wilson League. Froelicher also talks about the beginnings of the Park School and his tenure there, including the desegregation period; the Progressive Education Association; his work with the Citizens Planning and Housing Association; and the controversy over the location of the state office complex in Mount Royal Plaza. He brings up many names associated with Park School and the Citizens Planning and Housing Association.
