Abstract

Daguerreotype portrait of Arabella Stansbury Hambleton (1829-1893), wife of Thomas Edward Hambleton, Jr. (1829-1906). T. Edward Hambleton, Jr. established the banking firm of John A. Hambleton and Co. in partnership with brother, John A. Hambleton, in Baltimore in the 1860s. T. Edward Hambleton, Jr. resided at 64 N. Carey St., and married Arabella Stansbury in 1852. This image is attributed to Henry Pollock, a daguerreian in Baltimore, Maryland from 1849-1860 (and perhaps later). From 1851 to 1859 he was listed at 155 Baltimore Street.
