Abstract
Eleanora Bowling Kane was the supervisor of radio-television education for Baltimore schools, 1935-1948. In this interview, she discusses: the beginning of radio programming for schools; use of radio-television instruction during the janitors' strike which closed the schools in 1953; transition to television; Radio Children's Theatre; rationale for program preparation; teacher guides.
