Summary: An account of the court martial of Corporal Samuel J. Buciphuer of Company G for an offense committed on April 24, 1862. The corporal was drunk while on duty. The trial was ordered by Colonel W. T. Maulsby, and Buciphuer was arraigned and pleaded guilty to the charge.
