General

Summary: Expects will be battle in department before long, troops pass daily for front. Expects will be victory, as army is larger than before. Have captured some Yankees in skirmishes. Has lost horses, and can not get new mount unless captured from Yankees. Bragg has requested transfers from Warton, which he promises will be returned after the battle, but A. doubts it. Ready to fight for Bragg if he returns them to their own regiment. Praises uncle for stand against SW VA medical dir.
