General

Summary: No misunderstanding about saving the bridges. Fireing bridge unnecessary, was marked where to unconnect the iron. Was to have been informed of evacuation so could direct removing of the trussling. Got no word except indirectly, took engine to bridge but was already fired. Too dangerous to view damage because of sharp shooters.
