Abstract
Frances Morton Froelicher was the Executive Director of the Citizens Planning and Housing Association, 1947-1969, and a resident of Bolton Hill. In this interview, she discusses: Origins of efforts to improve the Mount Royal neighborhood by zoning, improved housing, parks, slum clearance, and new buildings; Mount Royal Protection Association succeeded by Mount Royal Improvement Association as goals and opinions changed; Hans Froelicher's leadership; and current problems.
