Zenith Jones Brown was an author under the pseudonym Leslie Ford. In this interview, she discusses her family background in Chestertown, Maryland; experiences as a writer of mystery novels; choice of her pseudonyms; origins of her plots; locales; chief character, Mr. Pinkerton; personal knowledge of Scotland Yard and Baltimore Police Department; other writers of mystery novels; and her fictional characters as contrasted with those of current writers.
