Abstract
Joseph Simmeth was a German immigrant and the proprietor of Peppi's Meat Shop in Bel Air, Maryland since1960. In this interview, he discusses: life in Germany as a young man; Bavarian sausage recipes from his family's 200-year-old meat business in Germany, and continued use of German customs in his family and store.
