Baltimore Insurance Company account book
Abstract
The volume was originally used to record ships insured with Baltimore Insurance Company and includes names of insured, descriptions of voyages, and comments on results. The volume also records lists of bank and U.S. stocks purchased by the company. From 1802-1803 it was used for John Ellicott Carey's arithmetic exercises. Land surveys are also included.
