Brookeville Academy minute books
Abstract
Proceedings of meetings of the Trustees of the Brookeville Academy, Montgomery County, Maryland, an institution incorporated 1815 and continued as a separate school until 1909. The minute books includes listings of regulations to be observed by the Principal, the Board, and the scholars, and gives a clear pictures of efforts to keep a private school, with problems concerning principals, boarding house, courses of school, etc.
