Charles Carroll letter book
Abstract
This collection consists of the letter book of Dr. Charles Carroll of Annapolis, including letters written to business associates in London, and to his son, Charles Carroll (the Barrister), in Lisbon, Portugal. Also included are some penciled notes on Carroll genealogy, and recipes are on blank pages in another and more modern hand.

Biographical / Historical
Dr. Charles Carroll of Annapolis was a landowner, doctor, and member of the Lower House of Maryland General Assembly, 1737, Burgess for Annapolis, 1738. Charles Carroll, Barrister was a lawyer and author of the Maryland Bill of Rights & State Constitution.
