Biographical / Historical
Sidney Hollander was a Baltimore (Maryland) businessman (owner of the Maryland Pharmaceutical Company) who devoted most of his spare time and much of his retirement to volunteer work in the fields of social welfare and social reform. He served numerous private and public philanthropic organizations as an officer and board member and gained prominence on both the local and national welfare scenes.

Many of the photographs are not dated and not identified. Photographs range from personal photographs (vacation, family, etc.) and formal group portraits.
The photograph is housed in one box and contains 42 photographs, including prints, negatives, and one 35mm slide.
