Scope and Contents From the Series: Trinity Protestant Episcopal Church was built in the 1850s of limestone donated by the Ridgelys from their Hampton quarries. Charles Ridgely served as the treasurer for the congregation in the late 1850s, and John Ridgely was heavily involved in overseeing the construction of the church (dedicated in 1860) and the later additions to the building in the early 1870s.
