Alexander Hamilton papers
This collection consists of materials relating to Alexander Hamilton’s (d. 1799) work in the tobacco trade between Maryland and Glasgow, Scotland.
Charles Calvert notebook
Plats of tracts of land north of Bladensburg owned by Charles Calvert 1849. Partially surveyed and recorded by Calvert. Tables of measurements for said plats. Plats of "Friendship" and "Yarrow" with copy of opinion of Luther Martin concerning the resurvey of these tracts, 1819.
Hill papers
The collection is made up of two principal series: the papers of Clement Hill, 1683 to 1819, and the business accounts of Clement Hill, 1701 to 1823. Also contained within the collection are land survey books dating from 1670 to 1715, mostly relating to Clement Hill, Sr. The bulk dates for both the papers and the accounts are between about 1760 to 1785. Gaps exist both before and after these dates.
Maynard land patents
This collection contains patents to various Fredrick and Prince Georges County properties purchased by Thomas and Nathan Maynard from 1735-1790. Also included are genealogical notes on the Maynard family, "Securities" and "Belongings" lists, 1921, of Eleanor Maynard, as well as Ms. Maynard's will, 1918.

This collection contains the papers of Benjamin Oden, a tobacco merchant and landowner of Upper Marlborough, Prince George's County, Maryland. Earliest materials show the conditions of Anglo-American trade, and subsequent items concern land sales and acquisitions; tobacco sales and cultivation; slaves and slave management; banking; and family matters.
