Abstract This collection contains approximately 130 letters, written between 1891 and 1911, plus newspaper clippings and photographs, concerning the life of Jessie Key Habersham (a.k.a., "The Gypsy Queen of Baltimore"), as well as her younger sister, Alice, her grandmother, and her parents. The Habershams were a wealthy Baltimore family, and in 1904, Jessie ran away from home and married a Romani man, becoming the "Gypsy Queen" of her husband's clan.
