The collection includes materials by and related to Judge Carroll T. Bond (1873-1943), who served as chief judge of the supreme court of the state of Maryland, the Court of Appeals. Included are journals written by Bond; two volumes of scrapbooks containing letters from lawyers and libraries regarding the distribution of "The Court of Appeals of Maryland, A History" by Bond; a sketch of Bernard T. Carter; manuscript notes on Thomas Jennings; and miscellaneous correspondence.
