Schooner Philip – bill of lading, invoice, and certificate of ownership of cargo, 1801 April 2

The collection contains the business papers of Captain Benjamin Jenne. Correspondence, bills, and receipts make up the bulk of the documents. The materials represent the typical paperwork of the import and export business, such as bills of lading, invoices, and insurance claims. The letters often contained directions from the companies Jenne worked for regarding shipments and sales of goods.
