Illustration of original "Athol" residence of C. J. Baker located on Catonsville Road in Baltimore County built in 1800. In 1900, Dr. Alfred Gundry purchased the home to use as a sanitarium for nervous disorders of women that required treatment and rest away from home. Functioned as a sanitarium until 2000.
