General
This natatorium was for ladies, gentlemen and children. 60 feet front and 2044 ft deep its purpose was to be used as a Bathing House and Swimming School. The association's directors included Physician Charles A. Alberti, Richard D. Fisher, Charles A. Vogeler and William M. Busey. This was an excerpt from the book The Monumental City: Its Past History and Present Resources by George Washington Howard published in 1873.
