Residence of Thomas M. Keerl bought a house in 1868 and the mansion was expanded and improved on the 60 acres. Information on Thomas Keerl and his family located in History of Baltimore City and County, from the Earliest Period to the Present Day by John Thomas Scharf published in 1881. pages 773-775. This excerpt of the illustration of the residence is located on page 774.
