Engraving of St. Timothy's Hall and Church located in Catonsville, Md. Litho by E. Sachise and Co, published by the Sun Iron Building. St. Timothy's Hall started in 1844 as a theological school and was separate from the church. Boys between the ages of 7 and 14 were taught, its most famous student was John Wilkes Booth. The school burned in July 1872 and the school closed for good.
