This illustration is of the crown Cork and Seal Company. Foreman and inventor William Painter patents the "crown cork" and starts this company in Baltimore in 1892. He invented a better way to package soft drinks and beer. In 1958 the company closed abrubtly. The Crown complex is still in use by different companies in Greektown in Baltimore.
