Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of 31 glass plate negatives and one film negative. Modern photoprints have been made from six of the glass plate negatives. Subjects depicted include the Druid Hill boat house and Mt. Vernon Place in Baltimore, Maryland; exterior views of Victorian houses in the vicinity of Oakland, Maryland (Garrett County); and exterior and interior views of the the Deer Park Hotel, which was a vacation resort in the Appalachian Mountains of Western Maryland constructed on land owned by a former Baltimore and Ohio Railroad employee and West Virginia Senator Henry Gassaway Davis.
Many of the subjects depicted are unidentified.
