Abstract
Senator George L. Radcliffe was a United States Senator from Maryland, 1935-1947, and President of the Maryland Historical Society, 1939-1965. In this interview, he discusses political figures he knew well, particularly Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Roosevelt's definition of a "good politician". Senator Radcliffe also speaks about the desegregation period in Maryland, and Cambridge, Maryland.
