General
Commissioners Richard Gist, William Hamilton, George Buchanan and George Walker discussed the purchase of acres of land to be erected in town called Baltimore Town by Charles Carroll Esq. and his brother Daniel Carroll. For the amount of 40 shillings (the currency of Maryland) or Tobacco to equal 40 shillings to the Sheriff of Maryland.
