The Greenfield family manuscript collection contains letters of correspondence between family members which discuss religion, health, agriculture, and politics. There are also property deeds, marriage licenses, tax documents, and bank loans.
Many of the letters are addressed to Samuel from his sister Ann and brothers Thomas and Amos. His letters with Ann often discussed his joining of the church. Later correspondence is to Mary Elizabeth from her nieces and nephews.
