From the Collection:
The Clayton-Evans Family Photograph Collection consists of two boxes of 52 photographs of members of the Clayton-Evans family, dating ca 1850s – ca 1902. There are also some photographs of the U.S.S. Constitution in Boston. The images include cased photographs – daguerreotypes and ambrotypes or tintypes – matted prints, carte de visites, and cabinet cards.
