Maryland World War II records
The collection consists of materials compiled by the World War II Records Division of the Maryland Historical Society. These materials include civilian and military documents, 1910-1970.
Matthew Marine account books
The Matthew Marine Collection contains various account books which date from 1822-1870. The bulk of the material falls between the period of 1830 to 1854. The collection is made up of account books, ledgers, and day books. This material focuses on the merchant and banking aspect of Matthew Marine's career, but only casual mention is made of two schooners he built.
Mayer-​Bradstreet correspondence
The collection contains 42 letters from Charles Mayer and 20 letters from Brantz Mayer to Martha Bradstreet, circa 1831-1869.
Maynard family papers
Maynard land patents
This collection contains patents to various Fredrick and Prince Georges County properties purchased by Thomas and Nathan Maynard from 1735-1790. Also included are genealogical notes on the Maynard family, "Securities" and "Belongings" lists, 1921, of Eleanor Maynard, as well as Ms. Maynard's will, 1918.
May's Dramatic Encyclopedia of Baltimore collection
This collection contains histories (mostly day by day accounts) of the theatres that existed in Baltimore from 1750-1904. Included are such famous ones as the Holliday Street Theatre, Front St. Theatre, Ford's Grand Opera House, and The Lyric, as well as less known taverns and coffee houses giving entertainment. Biographies of the leading men connected with these theatres include Edmund Kean, Junius Brutus Booth, Edwin Booth, Jenny Lind, and Charles Dickens, among others.
McAll mission papers
This collection contains papers pertaining to the McAll Mission (La Mission Populaire Evangelique de France),a Protestant missionary agency in France that was supported by contributions from groups such as the American McAll Association.
McBlair papers
The McBlair Papers primarily relate to Michael McBlair (1775-1861), Baltimore merchant and customs official. Dates covered in the collection range from 1797 to 1849 with the bulk of the material falling between 1820 to 1848. Approximatly 3,000 items in seven boxes are contained in the collection.
McHenry family papers
This collection contains the correspondence of various members of the McHenry family of Baltimore, Maryland from 1774-1876.
