Biographical / Historical
The Kelly family were farmers in Harmons, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, where they dealt predominantly with crops rather than livestock. Rufus Kelly and Egbert Kelly took over the farm from their father, Hezron Kelly. The Hawkins family intermarried with the Kelly family, and lived in Baltimore and Harmons, Maryland.
