Dr. Richard Mudd was the grandson of Dr. Samuel Mudd, the doctor who was implicated in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. In this oral history interview, he discusses the Mudd family and his own motivation for working to clear his grandfather's name. Dr. Mudd also speaks about his attempts for Congressional pardon for Dr. Samuel Mudd and expands on a hearing in Key West, Florida, for Doctor Mudd's release from prison there.
