3 account books show loans made for construction and operation of Barnum's Hotel, holders of stock certificates, and interest payments. A box of papers, 1862-1869, relate to the legal case of David Barnum (1770-1844) vs David C. Gordon et al concerning ownership of Barnum's Hotel.

The Harold Williams Collection consists of 11 boxes of 624 photographs, correspondence, and newspaper clippings, dating from ca 1950 to 1972.
