Donaldson papers
This collection contains papers relating relating to the families of John Johnston Donaldson, his wife, Caroline Dorsey, and their children, circa 1764-1929. Included are the papers of Thomas Donaldson, a prominent lawyer, politician, and early member of the Maryland Historical Society.
Dorsey family land records
This collection contains papers pertaining to the Dorsey family of Hockley-in-the-Hole, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, circa 17th to 18th centuries. Most notably, the papers contain a 1664 land grant from Charles Calvert to the Dorseys.
Edward V. Coonan and Company land deed, survey, and plat collection
Collection of deeds, surveys, plats, and indentures predominantly from Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City ranging from mid 1600s to mid 1900s. Many are fragile and some are infected with mold.
Furlong-Baldwin papers
The collection consists of letters of Sephonia Furlong Baldwin of Waterbury, Anne Arundel County from son Lewis Warrington Baldwin while employed with the Illinois Central Railroad, 1897-1901. The collection also contains letters from Mrs. Baldwin's husband and friends. Also included is the personal correspondence of Reverend Henry Furlong (1822-1886), from parishioners, family, friends, containing news of events in the Baltimore District of Methodist Episcopal church.
J. Reaney Kelly collection
This collection consists primarily of material collected by Kelly in relation to his special interest in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The collection includes a large number of news and periodical clippings, as well as correspondence, which touch on such topics as the art, architecture, history, and religion of the Anne Arundel County region. Also includes a number of Kelly's manuscripts (both published and unpublished) which are accompanied by notes and bibliographic information.
